NSC has entered into a partnership with the Greater St. Louis Community Foundation, United Way of Greater St. Louis, Catholic Urban Programs and the Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House to offer the AOL Academy.

Program Background and Goals
The AOL Academy provides online training and technical assistance geared towards building the capacity of nonprofit organizations that are located in and/or serve the East St. Louis area; made possible by the support of the ePhilanthropy Foundation and Network for Good.
AOL has always been a strong supporter of using the Internet to promote citizen philanthropy. As a result of a class action settlement, AOL agreed to include a charitable contribution dedicated to creating a program that benefits nonprofits in the East St. Louis area.
Committed to making it easier for nonprofits to benefit from the power of the Internet as a community building platform, AOL started Network for Good and is a financial supporter of the ePhilanthropy Foundation. Through these and other projects, AOL has dedicated itself to building the technological capacity of non-profits.
The main goal of the AOL Academy is to provide the best online, on-demand courses in ePhilanthropy, grant writing and fundraising as well as technical assistance to get your organization’s website ready to receive donations quickly and easily. There is no cost to you for the duration of the program!
By taking these courses and trainings, you will build your capacity, institute better fundraising programs, strengthen your grant writing skills and receive assistance in improving your relationships with donors and receiving donations through your website.
